Charter Launches Internet Max with Speeds up to 16 Mbps in Georgia

Duluth, Georgia, May 1, 2008 – Charter Communications, Inc. today announced that it is launching its Charter Internet Max service, with download speeds of up to 16 megabits per second (16 Mbps). Charter Business^® Internet Max is available to residential customers throughout most of Charter's service area in Georgia.

Charter Business, which offers services to business, education and government, also offers up to 16 Mbps Internet service in Georgia. Charter Internet Max is the premium tier of service for Charter customers and is up to 9x as fast as DSL and 270x as fast as dial-up. Charter also offers Charter High-Speed Plus, with download speeds up to 10 Mbps, and Charter Internet, with download speeds up to 5 Mbps.
